At Eddie Dee Senior Center, Riverside Sunrise Rotary and student Interactors come together to serve meals and create joyful shared experiences with local seniors. These intergenerational gatherings foster friendship, respect, and connection, giving students the opportunity to serve with compassion while reminding seniors they are valued, remembered, and part of a caring community.

These seniors, who often lack regular visitors, are deeply impacted by the energy and enthusiasm of our high school students.
Their presence is not just a highlight of the week for the seniors, but a source of joy and companionship. For the students, this experience is a powerful lesson in the value of service, especially to those who are older and often overlooked.
